I am a graduate student at Washington University in Saint Louis pursuing a PhD degree in Systems Science and Mathematics.
After what has been literally a lifetime (at least from my perspective) of studying in the classroom, it is an entirely new and exciting notion to take a step beyond
and begin research. I have recently started this research with in the area of nonlinear control.
Our particular topic area of interest is ensemble control - which has implications on quantum control, MRI technology, as well as other
dealings in which large numbers of entities need to be controlled by a single input. I am still coming up to speed on all the material.
I am also interested in applying system science analysis tools to the topic of global warming.
